Citizen's Academy

Citizens Academy

The Allen County Sheriffs Citizen's Academy offer residents the opportunity to have in depth exposure to the real world of law enforcement. Department instructors and staff will give instruction in many aspects of law enforcement including patrol, criminal investigation, crime scene processing, K-9 and SWAT operations, and more.

The next Citizen's Academy is scheduled to begin March 18, 2009 and will run through June 3, 2009. The Sheriff's Department is currently accepting applications for this class. The application deadline for this class is February 25, 2009.
